Watch this video at your own risk. You might think you can watch just one lap, but we don’t think you’ll be able to tear yourself away. Click play and pretty soon it’s 16 minutes later, you don’t know where the time went, and your boss is curious about your lack of productivity.
In the season opener at Watkins Glen, three NASA Northeast Spec E30 racers, Robert Casella, in the camera car, No. 74 Robert Grace and No. 71 Ray Prato put on a clinic of close racing that has to be seen to be believed. The three dice and slice their way through lapped traffic, touch, rub, nudge and battle for the lead on Sunday at the Glen. Casella finally forces a pass in Turn 9 and holds on for the win. It’s probably some of the best racing you’ll ever see. Seriously.
Classic SpecE30 racing. Brilliantly skilled racers trying their absolute best, but yet also carefully looking out for each other.
I may be prejudiced but this was an amazing race!
Hats off to both Robert’s!!! Both under constant pressure and drove great!!! One of the best video’s!!
Great Racing !!!
