After his engine let go on the back straight at Virginia International Raceway, Evan Levine pulled off line as quickly as he could, with him avoiding traffic and traffic avoiding him.
Once he shut it down and realized his engine wasn’t oiling down the track, Levine used gravity to his advantage and coasted darn near all the way back to his space in the paddock. We’re happy to report Levine has a new used engine and is back in the game in Spec E46 in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
“This was the original 272,000 mile motor from the donor car, same that was raced for 2 full seasons and won a 28-car HyperFest field in 2018,” Levine said. “So, needless to say it owed me nothing!”
