That this lap is done in two gears, fourth and fifth, tells you a lot about the speed you carry at a deceptively short track like Lime Rock Park.
In July, NASA Northeast racer Luiz Serva set the new GTS3 lap record at Lime Rock Park using only those two gears, lapping the circuit in just 55.76 seconds and topping 130 mph on the front straight, all accompanied by the glorious soundtrack of a BMW S54 straight six with individual throttle bodies. Well done.
