It’s not often we get a video and a photo showing a textbook pass for the Yokohama Move of the Month. In fact, we’ve never had that happen, but this installment has both and a lovely flat six soundtrack on the video.
During the 2022 NASA Championships, ST1 driver Michael Shumway from Riot Racing sets up a pass on No. 51 SU driver Michael Ehrhardt exiting Turn 6, and doesn’t get quite close enough to get by before the Corkscrew. That led to Shumway getting around Ehrhardt on the outside of 8a on his way downhill to Turn 9.
