Small and light is a winning recipe for racecar construction and it pays off in all but one condition: heavy rain. In this week’s video, we ride along with NASA Great Lakes Thunder Roadster racer Jason Oehler at a rain-soaked Autobahn Country Club, who keeps his car pointed in the right direction despite the apparent lack of grip anywhere on the track. On line or off line, the racing surface was as slick as can be. Oehler gets around James Wheeler, before the race was called early.
