Even after watching this video several times, you’d be hard-pressed to find something the driver in this car could have done to avoid the contact after the Bus Stop at the 2021 NASA Championships Presented by Toyo Tires.
NASA Southeast Spec Miata series leader Keith Williamson entered the Bus Stop in some pretty heavy traffic, and got a strong exit, picking off a couple of positions in the process. However, some argy-bargy took place once the pack was out on the banking and Williamson got collected, but managed to stay off the wall, continue and finish the race on the lead lap.
The car needs a few body panels and some paint — and if it’s going to continue to be “The Bandit,” a fair amount of graphics work.
