At New Jersey Motorsports Park in May, NASA Northeast member Andrea Cairone had to swerve and do a little dirt-tracking to avoid a Factory Five Cobra facing the wrong direction on track. If you’re looking far ahead in the video, you can see the Cobra spin and you see it coming. If you’re not looking far ahead, it kind of sneaks up on you. Driving in his fourth race since competition school, Cairone reacted quickly to avoid contact, which was good because he was driving a Spec E30 he rented from Drive-Gear.com

“My more experienced racing buddies always said, if you do only one thing, it’s keep your eyes high,” Cairone said. “Great advice! I ended the race P2.”
