The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge Presented by Grassroots Motorsports takes place each year the Friday before HyperFest at Virginia International Raceway. The contest always attracts some of the fastest cars and drivers in the country.
NASA Great Lakes Super Unlimited and American Iron Extreme driver Brian Faessler has attended often enough that he could be considered a regular, and for 2022, he can add his name to the list of overall winners.
This lap shows Faessler getting the job done, lapping VIR in 1:49.057, and posting some big, big speed numbers on the straightaways. Well done, sir.
