Well, at least the rear brakes worked, kind of? Maybe too well?
In this clip, NASA Southeast Spec3 racer Andreas Schmidt had a bit of a fright going into Turn 3 at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in July. The ABS system on Schmidt’s car locked the rear brakes going into Turn 3 at more than 100 mph during warmup. Schmidt reacted quickly and kept the car pointed forward without barreling into the tire wall on the outside of the corner, and keeping it out of traffic in the next turn. Nice save.

A loose nut on the starter wire caused the ABS issue!
