This one is fun to watch. Filmed at Road Atlanta, this NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month shows NASA Mid-Atlantic Super Touring 3 racer Chris Drum bobbing and weaving with other ST cars, one of which was built at the Porsche factory and the other two likely built somewhere near Mooresville, N.C.
Drum’s first-generation Cadillac CTS-V does battle with a 991 Cup car and two tube-frame stock cars. The Porsche excuses itself the moment it has the chance, but Drum keeps the stock cars in sight on the straightaways, and manages to catch and pass them in Road Atlanta’s tricky turns. As always, it’s neat to see how cars and drivers excel on different sections of a given racetrack.
