Passing going into Buttonwillow’s Phil Hill turn is possible, but it’s tricky. Defending is no easier, as demonstrated in this video. NASA SoCal American Iron racer Rob Capetz tries to defend against Ryan Walton, but gets a little crossed up upon reapplication of the throttle at the crest of the hill. He gathered it up, but two competitors ended up getting past him. Half the fun of this clip is the noise the cars make. Egads, those American Iron cars scream.
