For this installment of the NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month, NASA MidAmerica racer Matt Wilson was late to grid because he was making some repairs on his Rush SR, and was required to start the race from the rear of the field. Wilson made it to grid and was able to start the race and pick up 13 spots on the first lap in the first 11 turns of the track. It is great fun to watch, and it highlights the challenging nature fun flow of Ozarks International Raceway, site of the 2025 NASA Championships.

“I had a small fuel leak 10 minutes before the race started, as I was heading down to the grid,” Wilson said. “We fixed the issue, but I was late to the grid and had to start in the back. Despite all that, I was able to catch my run group and finish second overall.”
