Last-lap battles are the best, like this one between Michael Gerowitz in his Porsche 944 and Dan Fargo in his Mazda Miata in Performance Touring D at Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course. Fargo slowed due to smoke obscuring Turn 7, which allowed Gerowitz to catch up, and it was game on. Gerowitz made a bold move coming out of Turn 13, but he couldn’t quite get by before Fargo took the checkers and the last step on the PTD podium.
