OK, a couple of things to point out in this video. The first is the fantastic soundtrack Robert Shaw’s American Iron Extreme car makes. It is glorious. Second is the front row Shaw has to a tragedy narrowly averted in Turn 12. When a Thunder Roadster gets out of shape on the exit of 12, Terry Olson ahead in the other AIX car has to get on the brakes to avoid the spinning car, which we hope came to rest before hitting the wall. Shaw took two wins that weekend, with Olson in second for both races.
