The 2022 NASA Championships filled up faster than any event in NASA history, which created wait lists for a number of classes. To accommodate more competitors, NASA is actively working with WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and those wait lists are critical to determining additional interest in a given class.

We would like to encourage interested drivers who haven’t registered because of the wait lists to sign up for the class they’re interested in. The additional data will help us best determine how we can accommodate more drivers at the 2022 NASA Championships.

There is no cost involved to get on a wait list. You can sign up on the NASA Championships registration page. New developments will be announced in the coming weeks and months.

  1. Any thoughts of splitting SM qualifying in to 2 even gorups and top 60, or whatever the car max allowed is, get into the races. Those that dont get some of thier money back?
