Road Atlanta’s Turn 5 is tricky. Ask anyone who has raced there. It’s also critically important to get right for a quick lap. NASA Southeast Spec E30 driver Rob Eskew got it a little bit wrong during the June Jam event. His car gets upset on the right-side curbing on corner entry to Turn 5 and he went into save-it mode. He nearly righted it, and the gravel trap probably prevented body damage, but the cool part is that Eskew went on to a podium finish in second place.
