Robin Burnett was having a good weekend at the NASA Championships Presented by Toyo Tires at Mid-Ohio in September. After earning pole for the Spec Iron qualifying race and leading it for three laps, he blew his engine. His weekend wasn’t over. A good friend from his NASA racing family Steve Revelette loaned him his car. Burnett spent Saturday night swapping the suspension from his car, then spent Sunday’s raceclawing his way up from a last-place start to take the Spec Iron Championship. Getting it done in a borrowed car.
