With some 15 national championships to his name, NASA Arizona’s Dave Schotz is the winningest Championships driver in NASA history. Early in the development of his C4 Corvette, the car was a little loose, which you can see from the wheel work in this video. About 6 minutes in, Schotz takes a spin in the “concrete canyon” at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, but “two feet in” fast and firm saves the day and Schotz continues on his way. Pretty cool.
Nice save! Car was not up to your normal handling. Was the sway bar broken?
Rear shocks were bottoming out. Had to get a custom pair made up and that fixed it!
